How do we book with you?
Please contact me by clicking the "BOOK A SESSION" button below or via the inquiry form on my contact page. The more details you include, the better! Once the date and location are decided, I will send you my contract, a questionnaire, and an invoice for the 50% deposit.
Why is an engagement session important?
An engagement photo shoot will help you understand what to expect on your wedding day. You will learn about posing and pace; most importantly, we will get to know each other better! The images are great for your "save-the-date" cards, a picture slideshow at your wedding, a signature frame, or a guest book album. It's also nice to have professional photos of the two of you not in wedding attire!
Do you travel for engagement and or proposal sessions?
Yes! I love to travel! Please complete the form via the contact page to inquire about your session.
What location do recommend for our session?
I have several favorite locations in Nashville, but I recommend the session occur at a meaningful place, like where you first met or where you like to spend quality time. Engagement photos are a beautiful reminder of this special time leading up to the wedding!
What is the best time of day for photos?
The best outdoor light is in the early morning or late afternoon, about two hours before sunset. Every season has its unique lighting and quality!
Will you tell us how to pose?
Yes! I have almost two decades of professional modeling experience, which has given me a great perspective behind the lens! I always provide clear, informative directions to create a naturally posed setting. I promise I will make you look your best!
Can we bring our dog to the session?
For sure! However, I recommend having someone there to watch your dog after taking some photos so we can continue without the pup.
How do we receive our gallery?
My galleries are delivered via email and presented in an online gallery. The gallery and individual images are downloadable and shareable!
When will my pictures be ready?
My engagement galleries are delivered within ten business days. The proposal photos are sent within 24 hours - perfect for sharing with friends and family or on social media!
May I see the unedited (RAW) photographs?
No, RAW images are not delivered. After years of professional photography experience, I have perfected choosing the best photos. The selected images will be edited, retouched, cropped, and prepared for final presentation in your custom gallery. Unedited images are not shown or provided.
Do you offer albums, prints, and or wall art?
Yes! I offer custom albums, photographic prints, cards, gifts, canvases, framed prints, and wall art. I use the best print labs in the country that are only available to professional photographers, and the products are available directly from the gallery.
What gear do you use?
I predominately use a Nikon Z7, and my backup camera is a Nikon D750. I use a variety of Sigma Art lenses and rotate depending on the setting.
