The Lifestyle Newborn Session is best for infants between one and three weeks old and takes place in the comfort of your home. The shoot lasts up to 90 minutes and includes 25 retouched images, digital downloads, and a custom gallery.

What is a Lifestyle Newborn Session?
My newborn sessions are natural in approach and focus on your genuine connections as a family. While I provide posing guidance to capture the most flattering angles and choose the location with the best lighting conditions, I don't pose babies in unnatural positions or use props.
My newborn sessions might be right for you if:
• You prefer authentic, candid moments.
• You want posing advice, but don't want to be overly staged.
• You're seeking a minimalist approach that focuses on the present moment.
These sessions don't include:
• Trendy posed newborn photos that include sleeping babies in an abnormal, highly stylized setting.
• The use of props. I will not be posing your baby in baskets, bowls, or on miniature furniture.
• Specific outfits, tutus, or excessive accessories. Instead, the baby will stay cozy in a swaddle, onesie, or another outfit they usually wear at home.
How long does the session take?
The Lifestyle Newborn Session lasts up to 90 minutes. Your baby's mood will lead the session, and it's completely understandable if we stop for a feeding break, diaper change, or soothing snuggles!
How far in advance do I need to book?
I recommend booking 2-4 months before your due date. We'll choose a tentative date based on when your baby is predicted to arrive. You'll need to contact me to coordinate the final session date and time. However, don't panic if your baby is already born and you just discovered newborn photography. My schedule flexible, and I love photographing babies!
My baby's skin is flaky. Should I reschedule?
No! Many newborns have skin imperfections, rashes, and flaky skin. I am prepared for this and retouch all of the delivered images.
How much experience do you have with newborns?
I have four children of my own and have been photographing newborns since 2013. I have both personal and professional experience!
Do you include sibling & family pictures?
Yes, sibling and family pictures are included. With that being said, please keep in mind that your baby is the focus. If the attempt for sibling pictures becomes too stressful or unsafe for the baby at any point, we will move on.
How soon will my pictures be ready to view?
My current turnaround time is seven business days.
