What is a Natural Maternity session?
My Natural Maternity sessions are ideal for those who love the landscape's beauty and don't mind being adventurous. My nature-loving maternity clients have swam in a stream in the middle of a forest, laid down in tall grasses, and climbed fallen tree trunks. If you're unsure where your photoshoot will take place, I have several fabulous spots to choose from!
What is a Glam Maternity session?
The Glam Maternity session is for the woman who loves being fabulous, glamorous, and dressing up! The session includes a complete studio set-up with handpainted backdrops (painted by me!), dress options, strobe lighting, and 25 of your favorite images retouched to perfection. You will feel like a goddess when you're finished!
What time of day is best to take pictures?
The best outdoor light is in the early morning or late afternoon, about two hours before sunset. Every season has its unique lighting and quality!
How far in advance do I need to book?
I recommend booking when you are in the second trimester.
When is the best time for a maternity photography session?
Maternity sessions are best done between 32-34 weeks. You will be at the stage in your pregnancy where you're showing and being the most comfortable.
May I see the unedited (RAW) images?
No, RAW images are not delivered. After years of professional photography experience, I have perfected choosing the best images. The selected images will be edited, cropped, and prepared for final presentation in your custom gallery. Unedited images are not shown or provided.
I have other children. Can they join?
Yes, sibling and family pictures are included! With that being said, please keep in mind that YOU are the focus.
Does the session include a print release?
No, my maternity sessions do not include a print release. I have countless competitively priced print options offered directly from the gallery.
How soon will my pictures be ready to view?
My current turnaround time is seven business days.
